2009 Grand Introduction
WALL TO WALL & FLOOR TO CEILING FINE ARTWORK
Located in the heart of the Cultural Arts District within the City of York, Pennsylvania. City Art Gallery represents over 50 local, regional and national artisans with fine artworks on display. Located within one block of historic Central Markethouse, the historic Strand-Capital and Cherry Lane with ample on-street parking and a public parking garage directly across the street from City Art Gallery.
The first floor contains two galleries displaying traditional oils, watercolors, acrylics, bronze sculptures, and fine pottery artworks. This collection includes traditional oils in old world master style. Oil, acrylic and watercolor landscapes along with detailed destination points of interest captured on canvas for lasting beauty.
The first floor west and second floor galleries are showing impressionistic style, contemporary and abstract oil paintings, acrylics, watercolors, charcoal, mixed media and fine sculptures hung from floor to ceiling. There are dynamic layered photography artworks along with several antique and vintage works of art placed throughout the collections.
Newly appointed as Gallery Assistant is local Artist Pat Thomas. Pat maintains an active association within the artist community while supporting the growth of our Cultural Arts District. Julie Hess is our Administrative Assistant and she and Pat are available to assist you.
The gallery is owned by local entrepreneurs Bob Pullo and Jan Eisenhart. Please make a personal visit to our fine artwork gallery to view our collection of more than 350 works of art.
